Moody Blues coming to Amazon July 15th

I was just on the Amazon site redeeming my PepsiStuff cap codes for some mp3s and happened to see that this coming week they are adding some of my favourite Moody Blues albums to their DRM free library! Among these are: To Our Children’s Children’s Children, On The Threshold Of A Dream, A Question Of Balance, and Every Good Boy Deserves Favour, which is the first Moodly blues album I ever bought. Just thought anyone who uses Amazon for mp3 downloads and likes the Moody blues would be welcoming this addition to their library, I’ll be there bright and early on the 15th! Now I’m not prone to putting ads directly in my posts as the main topic, and yes this is one of my associate ads, but it’s a cool widget and you can hear sample for all the tunes from these albums ;) just click the play button and it lists the songs and begins a sampling. :)

  1. Oh boy!

I used to collect those cap codes, but I quit drinking Pepsi (diet). I still go to Amazon quite often; I’ve bought so many mp3s from there, they send me a thing once a week telling me about the newest files as well as the free ones. I bet I have a hundred new songs I haven’t had a chance to listen to, and many aren’t quite my “cuppa”, but hey, it’s free!

I was there last week and d/l an entire greatest hits of Etta James f/ $1.99. I really wanted “At Last”…it was .99 cents for the single and I thought I would spend the extra buck for the rest.

I really regret not getting to go to the last Moody Blues concert in Amarillo. Reading the next day’s review, I found out there weren’t very many people there but that didn’t faze the group; according to the reporter, it was great.
