I’ve not taken the time to post anything since Alison arrived,  we’ve been doing a lot of ‘catching up’ :) I will post a better update on things soon, but for now we are settling in just wonderfully and so very happy being together. Her flight over was good and was actually a little early arriving. She made it through immigration very quickly too. The time difference so far hasnt been too bad a problem and shes adjusting well to that , maybe wakign a bit early in the morings but usually managing to get back to sleep. the weather has been rainy but warm the first couple of days. It cleared up nice today but getting a little colder today. Just made it feel more like the Christmas season.

Garazon and the "Black Sheep" go way back, even before we started calling ourselves by that name.  He and I both had small communities, and joined each other's for support.   I like to think we had an instant "connection", seeing in each other a thirst for knowledge, an open mind, and a sensitive nature.

(maybe I'm fooling MYSELF, but those certainly are Garazon's qualities!   )
 
But, the way these things go, esp. in Groups, we all would get bored every now and then,  and elle and I wouldn't see Garazon for the longest time.  After awhile, I would say to elle in chat, "Wonder what happened to the big G?  Guess he got bored with it all, and is taking a break."
 
Elle would tell me "No, I expect his wife got tired of all the time he was spending on the computer!"
 
"Nah." I would sneer.  "He wouldn't stand for that.  He likes doing this stuff too much.  He's probably just bored, or maybe he's putting in too many hours at work."
 
"Could do." elle would retort "I still reckon he is doing what his wife wants.  He loves her very much, you know."
 
"How do you know that?" I asked.
 
"Women can tell these things, Mike."  she replied.  "I just know."
 
I thought about that, and didn't argue.  
 
Then, we would see Garazon again, and he would hang around some, but would disappear for the longest time.
 
"Worried about Chester!" I would tell elle.
 
"Don't be." elle would say. "He's just trying to spend time with his wife.  You know he loves her very much."
 
Well, me being a guy, how would I know?  
 
Then, Gretchen joined the Group.  I no longer had a relationship with my sweet elle by that time, but I thought back on what she used to say. "He loves her very much."  I figured Gretchen just wanted to share the friends that Garazon had made online….because she "loved HIM very much."
 
If a woman thousands of miles away, who had never met the people she's talking about, but had only known them second hand, only through posts in a message board and on IM, had got it correctly, and knew of a man's love for his wife, then…..
 
I figure that Gretchen knew Chester loved her very much, too….and still does.
 
God Bless and Keep You , Chester.  All of us "black sheep" love you and I have been praying for your pain to ease.

Thanks for sharing that Mike, that eases some of the worry I have, I question myself lately about everything, especially if she knew how much I did love her,  I wonder if she could could see in her eyes, the way I saw how she loved me in hers…  
 
You know, she never once hinted or gave indication that I was spending too much time on the computer,  and I think  she was actually happy for me that I had something that I loved to do, and I don't know if you remeber, but a couple of Christmases ago, she bought me a new chair for my desk, She was SO pleased with herself about finding the perfect gift for me. She said it was the best  present she had ever come up with on her own..  
So in a way you were both right, I dio occassionally get bored with the groups, and work has been a factor, and yes I did like to spend time with her,.

With all the free email companies using stronger spam filters, I've made it a habit to check the bulk mail folder daily, just to make sure something I want doesn't go unnoticed. most porn and spam is readily identified. Computer generated subjects and senders are almost always recognizable. It used to be a majority of it had random numbers and letters as the subject, "qye6huTo9" or blatantly obvious titles like S.L.U.T.S or "free porn". And then there are some who get a bit tricky, like using your own screenname as the sender, it can be deceptive. Recently I've been overloaded with spam that will have a plain name as the sender, ie: Lori, Jill, Richard, Bob, etc. and the subject would be Re:Fw(fw). I guess thats to make you think someone has replied to a message you forwarded, and I'm sure sooner or later those random names will finally coincide with someone you actually correspond with. However as I don't forward mail (except to myself at other accounts, I know none of these is legitimate. Well the latest fad seems to make the "from" and "subject" create a message in itself. And some of them are actually amusing, not amusing enough to open them though

Re: From the bulk mail folder « Reply #9 on: Oct 16th, 2005, 7:46am » Back when Hotmail only had a couple mb of space, I would let some of my addresses just "fill up".  I'd get the notice from HM that I was over the limit, but I knew that the spammer's messages were bouncing back to them until Hotmail cleaned out some of the old msgs.   I don't use my HM addresses much anymore;  just the Fun one that I get codes and mailing list stuff in, plus my "real name" one that my family and friends use to contact me.  I've very seldom given out my ISP provided one, just to a few friends.  (and definitely NOT to my uncle, who doesn't have a clue about BCC!  He has his own special Hotmail acct. I gave him to mail me!)   I REALLY like my GMail accounts.  I use one in my Passport profile and leave it on message boards all over the place and have only received about three/four spam mailings.   I will even leave it here:  mikeintexas@gmail.com   Hope everyone is doing fine…love to all my friends!
